Last Minute Stocking Stuffers from Wee Bee Baby Boutique

Last week on Instagram I came across the account of a new local baby shop, Wee Bee Baby Boutique and was excited to see that they’re just a skip and a hop away in Chamblee, GA. While you all know it’s important to me to celebrate Christmas simply, I also realized there are a few items I really need for Alden to have this year for the sake of his parents’ mental health… more on that later! So yesterday our family took a little outing to Wee Bee Baby Boutique for some last minute stocking stuffers!

The Wee Bee Story

Wee Bee was founded by Atlanta local Ashley Jacobsohn and her family. They come with ten years of experience owning and operating the doggie day care, K-9 planet, but when Covid-19 hit their business hard, they made the difficult decision to change directions. Superwoman Ashley gave birth to their son at 8:30 am on June 1st via emergency C-section and signed off on the sale of their first business by noon on the same day.

But as they say, when one door closes another window opens. After the birth of their son, Ashley and her husband researched and became experts in the baby product market. When their fellow parent friends started looking to them for advice, they realized they had a new business idea in their hands. I can’t begin to fathom how they did it as new, sleep-deprived parents, but Wee Bee Baby Boutique opened just a few months later.

The Play Room

I would be remiss if I didn’t share Wee Bee’s playroom with you! While I shopped, John and Alden had some fun daddy-son playtime in this playroom of a toddler’s dreams! Shopping with little ones can be so stressful, so it’s awesome to see a store that has thought through what parents need. It’s a perfect place to stop if you need to feed your little one or to let your toddler blow off some steam before or after shopping.

The Stocking Stuffers We Took Home

I promised I would come back to the sanity-saving stocking stuffers I went to buy! A little context: bath time and toothbrushing has been a nightmare in our house for the past few weeks. Alden knows that these are the steps leading to bedtime, and he is NOT having it anymore! I went to Wee Bee on the hunt for a few items to help ease up the bedtime routine, and walked away a happy mama! We ended up taking home Glo Pals for bathtime, “The Brushies” book, and one of these fuzzy, squishy, wheely toys… just for fun.
