Hi, I’m Cara! I’m an experienced dog mom and a proud new boy mom. I grew up in a little town in Connecticut and found myself moving south for work after college (“They really say y’all?!”). Little did I know it was the best decision of my life! Back in 2012, I met my would-be husband in Memphis and thought he was so sweet and hilarious, I tricked him into moving with me to his home town of Atlanta. I’m now an enthusiastic ATLien, and we’ve made the city our home for the long haul. Laurel Meets Rose is my own version of the phrase, “a little bit Yankee, a little bit y’all”. (Turns out y’all is the best contraction out there!) These days, I like to think of myself as a healthy mix of Connecticut Mountain Laurel arranged with some sweet Georgia Cherokee Rose.
